Newlyweds Tricia and Ethan are searching for the house of their dreams. The author presents us with another addictive and unpredictable thriller that "plays" with our mind. In every chapter, I had another idea about the development of the story and this is an element I love in crime fiction stories and thrillers.
I have to admit it is a bit slow in the beginning but as the story continues the rhythm gets faster and I couldn't stop reading the book. Also, I liked the short chapters with a kind of "cliff hanger" endings because that kept me on my toes.
The unexpected plot twists are really something and the character descriptions highlight the mastery of the author. Another element that really impressed me is that the writer had me believing (almost till the end) that the killer was another person than the one McFadden "photographs" the whole time! As it is understood I can't write more because I wouldn't want to spoil the fun.
All in all, this is a well-written psychological thriller which you will definitely enjoy!
